Excellent Product
By Justin J. Coppa
This performs a very important function flawlessly. Once installed it allows me to effortlessly and safely level my Werner extension ladder on uneven ground. The leveling foot attaches and detaches in seconds and is very secure once attached. The installation involved drilling three carefully placed holes on both bottom rails of the ladder and then bolting on the base units. The base units remain on the ladder permanently and the leveling unit can be switched from one side or the other or set aside when not needed to save weight. The whole system works perfectly. I would recommend using a combination square to accurately find the centerline of the rail, install the bottom bolt according to the instructions, and then use the base unit itself as a template to locate the other two holes per side. I used a 5/16 transfer punch to locate the hole centers on the centerline of the rails. This method of installation worked flawlessly. One more thing, this kit is not made by Werner. I purchased it as a Werner PK70-1. It is actually made by Levelok Corporation, part number LL-STB-2QC. This part number (LL-STB-2QC) is sold on Amazon by the same Amazon store for almost $20 less.

Super product
By Mr Archer
This product does a great job of leveling a ladder and keeping the weight off until a leveler is needed. Also, with 2 kits I was able to put base units on 2 ladders and now I can snap one or 2 levelers onto either one of my ladders. It only takes a few seconds to attach or detach them. It is the only leveling system I have ever seen that snaps directly onto the outside of the ladder rail, thereby avoiding any interference with the base section and the fly section of the ladder. It has a 375 pound duty rating and adjusts easily in 3/16" increments up to 10" with a touch of my toe. The foot pedal snaps out to extend the leg and snaps up for storage. Ther upper pedal is easy to reach with my thumb and I simply press it down a tiny bit and the leg slowly retracts back up. It's a great tool for saving time and keeping safe. It's also the only leg leveler on the market that actually has a fully automatic, back-up, safety lock. It activates as soon as any weight is placed on the leveler leg. I really like that, especially when I'm 20 feet in the air. Bottom line is that this is a super product, sold by the largest ladder company in the world, Werner. They wouldn't sell it if it wasn't a good quality product.

Gret product, but I couldn't use it
By Wonder
It seemed to be very well made, but the instructions indicated that it was only designed for use on heavy-duty ladders. I believe it said that it should be installed only on ladders rated over 225 pounds.
