This was the best deal on a ladder I could find anywhere. I drove around to all my local stores, and generally found this ladder or one substantially identical for approximately the same price -- plus a delivery fee of as much as $50 or more. Since I don't have a car that could transport a ten foot ladder, the free shipping on this ladder made it a no-brainer purchase.The shipping was a little annoying -- Amazon sent it through a carrier that required a delivery signature -- but I can't complain at the price. I only wish I'd skipped local shopping and gone to Amazon first.As to the ladder itself, it's stable and solid and does everything I need my ladder to do (primarily, be solid enough to support me as I change highly-placed light bulbs).

I've only had to use this ladder a couple time and I have to say for a step ladder you will not find a better one. The only thing I found wrong with it was at the top their supposed to be a magnet but it's not strong enough to hold a small bolt and nut. Other than that this ladder has great support and works for me.
