I have high ceilings and was looking for a ladder that I could take from room to room easily that would also reach my light fixtures. This ladder was perfect for the task. It is lightweight, making it easy to manipulate. The top of the ladder has slots for tools, hardware, lightbulbs, etc. It also has a magnetized area for nails and screws.

I bought this for indoor use at my new house (it's an old house, but new for me) which has some very high ceilings. I'm pleased that I purchased the 8' ladder (no stretching required as would have been the case with a 6') and also that I didn't go overboard and get a Class IA or IAA rated ladder. This one is plenty sturdy but it's also light enough to move easily, carry upstairs, etc. Very good item.

There are a number of locations around my house where a 6' ladder is just a little too small. This ladder is perfect for those locations. The construction is excellent and the fiberglass makes the base solid and it's light enough to carry easily. My only complaint is the price. I don't understand why an 8' ladder is twice the price of a 6' ladder of the same construction. Is that extra 2' really increasing the cost of production that much? Somehow, I doubt it. Beyond the price though, this is a very handy tool to have around my house.
