This Torin design is superior for folding, and that's usually important since there's never enough garage space by definition.The issues I have with this model are:(1) Assembly is not reliable enough because tools are often needed to get the bolts in place.(2) The height may be insufficient to replace an engine in a truck, if that's required.(3) This model has 4 wheels, the bare minimum for stability. As soon as one wheel fails, the unit fails in a resale situation.Consider the Torin 2-ton 6-wheel model for only a little more money. It's much heavier but also folds. It has the same potential height limitation but I think it's a better purchase:Torin T32001 Foldable Engine Hoist - 2 Ton
