I was originally going to go with a traditional workbench, but we seem to move things around in the garage every six months or so. I didn't relish the thought of a heavy, industrial workbench. I liked this, because it's a simple, open design and lightweight too. It's got a very functional surface area and it's open underneath so that I can slide other junk under it. The fact that it flips over into a scaffold was also attractive, in case we needed a work platform for working in and around the house. My only gripe is the legs flaring out, which is great for the scaffold. However, it would have been nice if the legs could have locked vertically in the workbench mode. Overall, it seems very sturdy and solid.

This is exactly the same Item as the Vika. I'm not sure who did what first, but the pictures and description are identical except for the name. The Vika is cheaper by 20 bucks, and from Woodcraft, so someone is doing knockoffs. Check out BOTH companies before buying! there is nothing pneumatic about the table so I don'r know where that is coming from. It is heavy. The support gussets WILL BITE! And the pop out buttons are hard to use. Be forewarned. It is a good table, but I don'r know who is the legal owner of the patent. Check it out online before buying! Also, as I said in my Vika review. I do not believe it is worth 200 bucks, maybe 60-80. Look for coupons and sales before you buy one. I got mine for 100 bucks using coupons from Woodcraft and it wasn't too bad. It is sturdy and works for what you need, just look for coupons and buy it from the right re-seller.

Overall this product is sub-standard for any kind of real work. If I could rate this item on a 0-10 scale, I could not rate this item higher than a "4".I was so disappointed when the first one arrived. It did not even stand up to rough shipping and was damaged to the point that it could not even be set up for use. The second one arrived with the handles broken off. I understand that this is a heavy beast, but it should be able to standup to shipping while in a padded box.So I got it set up and was going use it as a scaffold, but it was too shaky and flimsy that I did not feel safe standing on it. So I put it away and got out my old ladder. Next, I tired to use it to do some nailing. Even with this small job, it shooked and wiggled and felt like I was pounding nails into a board that was on a mattress.Looks like I got myself a very expensive plant stand.
