Note the word Economy
By Larry W. Mccloskey
First, the Amazon description is incorrect. This bench does *not* have a laminated top. It's simply a slab of bare flake board, and flake is the operative word. Mine arrived with rough chipped edges and corners that I presume will only get worse over time.It also arrived with no instructions and no bolts and nuts to put it together. You can get the instructions from the edsal web site. Based on the statement in the instructions that the "bolts and nuts are common hardware locally available" it appears that maybe you have to provide your own. On the other hand, there was a bag of wood screws included, so who knows. It looks like it will be sturdy enough once I acquire the parts to put it together. Oh, and note the height which *is* described correctly - 29-34 inches. You definitely won't be standing or sitting on a tall stool at this bench. Just wanted to mention that because with a quick glance at the photo you might get the impression it was taller. All in all, I wish I had gone for a higher quality model.
