Definitely requires two people. One in the attic and one on the ground. But otherwise, pretty easy to install. The only difficulty I had was getting the proper angle where the steps met the ground. Seemed like it should have been easy. (Maybe it was in the directions, but I have a hard time following instructions!) Ended up cutting scraps and screwing them into the ends to make the angle right. Also had one corner that wasn't exactly flush and had to use a sawsall to cut thru the nail and adjust. Bought two, one for carport and one for inside the house. The carport one was the "practice" job. The one inside went in perfectly, having "learned" from the carport experience.

very simple installation,a quality product.now i don't have to go dig out my ladder to get or put stuff away which means my garage is in a lot better order.well built and priced right...GREAT PRODUCT!!!
