Great tool for hardwood flooring

The Cepco floor jack is a fantastic tool if you are installing hardwood flooring and want really tight joints in those areas next to a wall where you cannot get a flooring nailer. Instead of using screwdrivers, chisels, or wedges to force the flooring together, the floor jack simply presses it into place with no bother and no fuss.

I recommend using a 2x4 or 2x6 at least 36" long against the wall that you are going to press against to keep from damaging the wall or pushing a single stud out of place. The wall jack can generate a lot of force and in the hands of a careless installer it could dislocate a wall or partition.

While this tool is designed primarily for installing hardwood flooring, creative carpenters will undoubtedly find many was to use this tool to precisely move framing members. It is worth every penny that I paid for it.

I'll give it 5 stars to be fair. It is an excellent idea.

After using a friends, I decided to buy my own, but balked at the price. A trip to Northern Tool for a trailer jack, and about $10 worth of parts from HD, and I had an equally functional and more attractive tool for less than $50. I've now made about half a dozen because they really are very useful, but not for $150 each.

What a great use of a very simple concept.The guy who came up with this idea is pure genius. A must have for installing wood floors.Quickly and easily closes gaps without damaging the flooring.Simple setup makes it an effecient tool to use.It's worth every penny.

great fan

This fan is great. I got one months ago and just went for a second. The motion sensor is a bit bright; but give me a break; it is not a spot light.It can move a lot of air and does it with no noise.I am 100% happy with it ; if you don't like the light put duct tape over it buddy or get a life.Just came to the product to buy a second one.

Its sooooooo quiet. With the motion sensor, Uncle Ralph can't leave the room without the fan running. I get to decide how long it stays on. This is bang for the buck.

Perfect for small to midsize spaces

I have used Panasonic fans in several homes and have always been thrilled with their performance. This is the first time I've tried one with the variable speed and motion sensor functions--and I'm truly impressed. The controls allow you to choose the run time--which is great for assuring that the room has been properly ventilated--and I love the fact that it can be set to constant vent at a very low CFM level. Very nice features in an already well made and extremely quiet fan.

A great idea and it works really well

This solves a huge problem at my office where we have quite a few people using large desktop computers and lots of monitors. By afternoon it is always too hot. Even in the winter, we need the A/C in the afternoon or is way too hot. Now we never have to change between heat and cool, just set the temperature band and we're always happy.

156 sheets of sheetrock hung @ 16 feet

I purchased two of these units to hang 12 foot long sheets of sheet rock. Glad I did get two, since the support frame is pretty flexable and the sheet will waffle on just one jack; some what unsafe. With two - tools, a 4 X 12' sheet is pretty stable and is much more easily manuvered into place. These were a life saver. My two helpers love them and don't have to break their backs holding up the sheet. Two persons can hang sheet rock all day long, safely, with this tool. They could have a lock in the vertical position, as mensioned in one other review. This would be a big plus. The existing lock on the horizontial position - we didn't use and was pretty much worthless, since the wieght of the sheet keeps it flat. All in all a good tool and recomend this one.

Does the Job

I hang a fair amount of drywall and have rented lifts in the past. This is as good as anything I rented. This is heavy duty and does the job. Don't let the price fool you.

Not your typical Made In China POS

I wouldn't go as far to call this Professional grade, but it is certainly manufactured with tighter tolerances than we've come to expect from something bearing a Made In China label (ironically the various warning labels look like they were aimlessly adhered by blind people). It is ALL smooth operating; the casters, articulating legs, wheel crank, and extension arms all glide the best one could expect without the luxury of ball-bearings. It is easy to disassemble and reassemble when relocating it. It is stable and appears that it will easily provide many years of service.Only two complaints:1) There is no lock for the tilt position. This is a problem when drywalling a sloped ceiling. I ended up using a block of wood as a wedge to serve as an adequate tilt lock mechanism.2) The threads for attaching the handle to the wheel extend through the opposite side about 3/4". When cranking, these extending threads would knock the frame of the lift. However, you can adjust the length of the threads if you have a big enough Allen wrench.All in all, I feel I sufficiently got my money's worth and would probably buy the same exact lift if I was given a chance to do it all over again.

Check out Nutone 8664RP first. Cheaper...

Before you buy this Broan Fan/Light Model 751 check out the Nutone Model 8664RP first!! Nutone 8664RP 100 CFM 3.5 Sones Designer Fan/Light, Round White Grille with Glass Lens Nutone 8664RP costs $88 compared to this Broan 751 at $103. They are the exact same items, just different brand names.Also note that the Housing dimension is 9X9X6 inches and the Grill is 15" diameter for both models and you'll need a 11 1/2" diameter hole in the ceiling drywall to mount it. Go to the individual websites to verify yourself. I'm trying to find a replacement for an older Nutone Model 8662 and these two products are its replacements. After I crunched the numbers on each website they are the exactly the same items in every way. Save some $$ and get the Nutone 8664RP.Hope this helps..

Stunningly poor design and quality

Worst bathroom fan I've ever encountered, by far. I have four of these that were installed by the builder of my 6 year old house and have had to replace the motors multiple times in two of them. The noise coming from them after is about the same as you would hear standing behind an idling diesel city bus - just awful. I'm planning to rip them all out as they each fail (which they all will no doubt) and replace them with non-Broan units. Don't waste your time or money on these inferior products!

Great product, nice and quiet

I have had this product now for 5 years having bought it because I do not like noisy exhaust fans in the bathroom. This product line works well and is very quiet and I would definitely buy this again.The most important thing in deciding which unit to buy is to be sure that the unit's CFM matches the bathroom size and the way a person takes a shower (ie short or prolonged). When I shower the unit clears the mist out very well. On the other hand, my wife takes a very long shower and so it takes longer to remove the humidity from the room- I probably should have bought the next size up though it is really fine.

Super Quiet

Wow! What an improvement over the "low sone" fan this new Broan replaced in our bathroom. The 6" duct is a definite advantage in both sound and efficiency in moving air. I don't pat myself on the back that often, but this time I get two thumbs up for picking Broan. The only quip so far is we walked out of the house and left it running because neither one of us heard that it was on.
