I gave it a 3 star for 2 reasons:the 2 part metal design over the glass is not a good fit, it is offset and outer piece does not properly line up with its matching piece.the fixture does not accept a regular bulb or an energy saver; must use a regrigerator bulb which is short and fits in the limited space provided.it is quiet though

Have used this unit for a few days now. It is excellent....very quiet and gives a warm light. It is very attractive and will fit in most decors. One note: If you are replacing an existing unit that has a large square cut-out in the ceiling, you may be able to see the corners of the cut-out. The glass cover on this unit does not fit flush with the ceiling to allow for air flow.

This fan is super quiet (which if you want this fan in a bathroom where you would prefer "unpleasant" noises be covered up, I wouldn't recommend it) it looks infinitely better that the standard square plastic ones that are most common, and it seems to also be much more effective at pulling the steam out of the air. It was also fairly easy to install in place of an existing fan, I suspect it would be easy to install new as well.
