I used this kit to make a powered litter box ventilation system. I used all the parts except for the grills, which were not need in my case. I also added some short variable-angle duct from the hardware store to help match the separation of the litter boxes. The airflow is actually quite a bit more powerful than needed, so I added a motor speed controller.

Doing a bathroom remodel. This fan is well worth the extra effort of installation vs the cheap 70 cfm fart fan. This took most of the day to install including electrical and cutting a hole in my roof but well worth the extra effort. Since the actual fan unit it in the attic, the whole system is pretty much silent.
