This is a very solid winch. You can't beet the price of this item. Very simple to install in 30 min.Don't let the cheaper price fool you. Smittybilt is a very reliable company. Everything that they make has been tested in real life.

Awesome winch with tons of power and looks bad ass on the jeep. It's far more winch than I'll ever really need hopefully. I got the jeep stuck a few times since i got it and it's worked great with what I've thrown at it so far. Between pulling drunks out of the middle of the woods in a mud pit on the side of a trail in a ford taurus and winching myself up roots where water washed out 2 feet of dirt on one side of it I think its proved its worth so far. Make sure when you get it you spray the cable with a little WD40 and keep it wound nice and tight and you wont have the problem with rust as stated in the other review.
