Installed in a small condo bathroom, coupled to a 3inch diameter exhaust tubing, this fan is great, since you can be sure it pulls the cfm's you set, so at 40 cfm it is pretty much silent, when a switch is toggled it goes up to 80 cfm, and even then the hum is very soft, and talk about electricity savings, i was worried about using a 3inch piping, but in a concrete construction, you just can't change that, being silent at 40cfm is just awesome. The electrical box is outside the square footprint, so access from above is needed, otherwise if things go wrong you will need to tear up the wall or ceiling.
