If you have to replace a zone controller or update an outdated one then you really can't go wrong with Honeywell. The unit functions well. is was easy to instal and configure with good documentation. The only complaint is the spring loaded wire terminals. I know they are meant to be quicker and easier, but for me I would rather see good quality screw down terminals.I have waited to write this review but after a month the unit is working flawlessly so now it is time to give it five stars

I researched many zoning kits before settling on this one. The install was very straight forward, and the LCD screen (which is behind the cover) is a great feature for set up. I used this with a Honeywell ARD round damper and a Honeywell ZD damper (2 wire dampers). I was on the fence about possibly adding an additional furnace, coil and condenser before considering zoning, but glad I went this route. After receiving quotes of about $2500 to zone my home, I installed this with the dampers I needed for around $550. My home is comfortable and the added feature to add a wireless thermostat (need the stat and module to do so) is a nice option, although I didn't need that. I would DEFINITELY recommend this product, and continue to sing it's praises.
