after almost a month, the second ladder shipped finally arrived and appears to be satisfactory. The problem with this order was with shipping. The first ladder was damaged in transit, and the local delivery company STILL had not received authorization to return it by the time the second ladder arrived on its loading dock. And for both ladders, the national shipping company claimed -- until I contacted Amazon and they contacted the company TWICE -- that $700 was due on receipt -- enough to buy 2-3 similar ladders locally -- when the ladder was already fully paid for and was to be shippped at no charge.
