I've installed a few Kohler faucets when doing kitchen and bath renovations, but have never used any of their "bath furniture" products. I happened to see this when looking for a medicine cabinet at Home Depot and was really impressed. (Wound up getting it from Amazon since their price was so much better).The construction quality is excellent. Beefy frame and equally beefy hinges. Really feels solid when you use it - far more so than anything else I've seen, even at higher prices. There are two glass shelves, also quite substantial in thickness.I did a recessed installation, but it comes with mirrored side panels so it looks very nice even if surface mounted. Installation was quick and easy for a recessed mount. A surface mount is a bit more complex, but straightforward - good instructions are provided, as well as all hardware needed.The front door has a mirror on the front and back, and the back wall (behind the shelves) is also mirrored.It comes very nicely packed including plastic edge guards on all corners, and plastic sheeting on all mirrored surfaces. Even UPS can't damage this product!Can't recommend this highly enough.

I looked all over town at Home Depot, Lowe's, and other local hardware stores for a descent recesssed medicine cabinet with no luck. Hence, my internet purchase. I was worried that I would have to return such a big item and that the shipping would be expensive. No return is necessary. This is a beautiful recessed medicine cabinet (it does come with parts for surface mounting). The installation was simple, once you get the hole cut out.
